Peter Yeoman - Chairperson

Peter has served several terms as Chairperson of the REAP Marlborough Board. He has had first hand knowledge of the workings and needs of both rural communities and schools. He and the Board are committed to the concept of 'Life Long Learning' and the welfare of rural New Zealand.

Allan Thomas - Manager

Allan has been with REAP for 9 years after a career in teacher education in Palmerston North. He was Principal of Tua Marina School in the early 1970's. Allan has a strong belief in the value of the learning opportunities that REAP's programmes, events and support services offer.
REAP has an important role in the self-development of communities.

Ailsa Carey - Adult Education

Ailsa has had 25 years experience in teaching including 8 years as Assistant Principal.
Marlborough born and educated Ailsa loves organising education opportunities for adults from Kaikoura to the Sounds. Strengthening communities by meeting their needs is a focus of the Community Education Organiser.

Joan Clark - Adult Education

Joan has enjoyed working with REAP Marlborough for 6 years. As a Community Education Organiser Joan enjoys the contact with the wider community of Marlborough helping to assist them with courses to further their goals of Life Long Learning. Joan has a background in Art and Graphic Design.

Dawn Marfell - Early Childhood

Dawn has a background in Early Childhood Education and Early Intervention. Dawn is currently delivering and organising workshops, courses and training for parents and early childhood educators in the Marlborough and Kaikoura region. She is available to centres at no cost.

Lynn DeBoo - Early Childhood

Lynn has been employed part time with REAP for six years. She has worked in Early Childhood and parent education for more than 15 years. Lynn is involved in Bookstart, Skip and parenting programmes in the Marlborough and Kaikoura region.


 

Yasmin Gee - Early Childhood

Yasmin leads a Bookstart Programme. This is an initiative that reinforces the importance of reading and book language to mothers and babies. She also works with a Young Mums Group delivering a programme of topics that are critical to early childhood development.


Janice Thompsett - Office Administrator

Janice is our Office Administrator. She has been closely involved with committee work for a number of clubs and organisations in Marlborough. Janice adds to the efficiency and organisation of REAP. Janice will make you welcome and sort out your inquiries.
