Course Description
This course is fully booked! Missed out? No worries! We’re offering another evening course starting on July 3rd 2025! __________ Would you like to learn the basics of sign language? This is the perfect starter course for anyone interested in communicating with the Deaf or hearing-impaired community. You will learn: - Basic NZSL grammar - The importance of facial expressions in communication - Vocabulary for family, days of the week, numbers, feelings, animals and colours This course is one evening session each week over 8 weeks, starting Thursday, 27th March, and finishing on Thursday, 15th May 2025.
